1999 - Exceptional and Plentiful
This last vintage of the Twentieth Century witnessed exceptionally good conditions during the growing season, with a higher than usual temperature. The crop was abundant, healthy and ripe, with grapes that were particularly delicious. The same conditions prevailed throughout all of Burgundy. This was one of the great vintages of the last century.
WHITES
The wines are evolving very favourably. They are very open on the nose and display good complexity. The aromas are now reminiscent of honey and dried fruit.To drink now.
REDS
They are still well-balanced, mingling aromas of undergrowth and black fruit. Some villages are ready to drink now.
