1996 Fruit and Liveliness
This vintage is characterized by a higher acidity level than usual. The wines are therefore lively and are evolving slowly.
WHITES
Showing their breed, refined and with a great bouquet. The acidity has mellowed out. The singularity of each terroir is perfectly expressed. The Village and Premier Cru wines should be drunk now while the Grand Crus can be kept.
REDS
Good colour and structure with a superb aromatic complexity. Nevertheless they are still a little closed and are evolving slowly. They should be decanted if to be consumed in the near future. Their aging potential is still 5 to 10 years.
